Michael T. Practicing for 30 years, Mike consistently employs his own brand of energy and pragmatism on behalf of his clients, and has succeeded in repeatedly obtaining verdicts and settlements in excess of $1.0 million. Comfortable advocating the interests of consumers in cases other lawyers won’t accept, Mike pioneered the representation of homeowners in Central California where defective construction practices were rampant.

He has been admitted to practice before all of the Courts of the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. He is a current and active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, has served on the CAOC Board of Governors, and has testified before California State Senate subcommittees regarding consumer rights.
Mike graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 1981, and Southwestern University School of Law in 1984. After graduation and before passing the Bar Exam, Mike spent a year living in London and working in the Lloyds of London insurance market. Returning home, he began practicing at a large Los Angeles law firm where he was exposed to high profile national and international cases, and later became Partner. After obtaining the 7th largest California jury verdict in 1992 on behalf of a small insurance brokerage, Mike shifted then his practice to focus on representing the rights of consumers. He formed his own Firm in 1996, relocating to the Central Coast in 2001.
